Recognized for Excellence
The Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk at P/SL (formerly the Institute for Limb Preservation) is one of the few centers in the U.S. that offers a preoperative intra-arterial chemotherapy protocol. This procedure infuses the chemotherapy agent directly into the tumor through a catheter inserted into the arteries that supply the tumor and greatly aids in limb salvage.
P/SL Rehabilitation Services provides comprehensive therapy in the largest neonatal intensive care unit in the Rocky Mountain west. Our therapy team consists of developmental therapists (physical and occupational therapists and speech pathologists) and audiologists. Therapists continue to follow these high risk or special needs children for two years in our Developmental Progress Clinic.
